achievements for today.

1. i killed a mosquito, my first after a gazillion years. 

it was a game of kiss-and-die. i preyed it with my legs, watching carefully while pretending not to look, and waited. then it came! fluttering about like a cursed thing it is, and SMACK! i flattened it against my forensic science notes, sending a splatter of blood across the page........... well, something like that. 

2. i'm not even halfway through my forensic science notes and there's a mid-term tomorrow. the sane, conscious and intelligent (yes it exists) side of me says that i'm dead, with an apt tinge of irony. but ladies and gentlemen, i am still CALM as the sea. 

somebody turned off my panic button and i can't decide if that's a good thing or not.
